Being that the majority of us are loyal followers of Fecal Face, we've all been fans for years of Michael Sieben. Recently the people over at adidas (http://www.adidas.com/michaelsieben) wanted to honor the hard work that the dude has been up to by giving him a couple of shoes to design, along with a film about him. Below is a quick summary of the production that was involved with Michael's shoot. This feature is kind of for the film and skate nerds out there, so be forewarned that there's a lot of photos of camera gear, costumes, and skateboarders. Sorry folks, all nerdy shit over here today.

After shooting some scenes of the embarking of the hot air balloon, everyone in the cast got to go for an hour-long drift.

Here's the whole cast with Dennis Busenitz at Fort Miley. Not that it's ever happened, but if anyone were ever to doubt that Busenitz kills it, watch the skate footage clip below. This is what Dennis does when he casually skates Ft. Miley for 15 minutes. ZONK!

Inside the bedroom set of Michael and his monster buddies. There's some good skate history on that wall from a few old issues of Thrasher and Transworld. Michael had to decline the photo of Ken Park that was randomly put up on the wall, but there's some good NatasKaupas and Hugh "Bod" Boyle for you geezers.

This is pretty much the view that you have when you are on set all day. It's great to be part of the whole production, but sometimes you don't want to stare at a monitor when the real thing is so intriguing. I used to film skating a bit, but then I realized that by filming skating you were essentially missing 90% of what you were experiencing. Cameras are great, but they're also brutal.

Time for a pop-in at FFDG. Maybe it didn't quite translatein the film, but Trippehad this random adlib concept that he was a blind art gallery owner. It seemed funny at the time, so when you watch the full film, that's why he's swaying his head around like Ray Charles. No disrespect, we just thought there was some humor that even a blind person could appreciate about a visually-impaired curator.

This is Eric Noren. He rules and has an uncanny ability of getting people to act stupid.

This is Dan Wolfe, you might know him from the Eastern Exposure videos and other rock solid skate videos. Here, he's filming the behind the scenes footage for the outtake clips you will see below. Dan also edited the final cut of the film.

Nestor Judkins taking a bit of time to relax with his foam head off. If you ever get to know him, you will understand that he is a unique being. It's sort of like he's been plucked straight out of the1950's or something. Such a nice guy, a mild demeanor andextremely personable.

A dollied shot can make almost any location look amazing. Marin Headlands is phenomenal, but even better under these circumstances.

Furry pretty much of stole the show on a daily basis.

Nestor in the middle of a fakie-flipoutside of the porn studios on Mission Street. We actually had a permit to skate this famous skate spot, two police officers to direct traffic and anytime someone had to go to the bathroom they would go inside KinkDotCom to use their facilities. RANDOM. It was pretty crazy seeing a bondage porn film set. Not quite my cup of tea, but much appreciation for their cooperation with letting us use their front entrance and bathroom.

Matt Uhry (the Director of Photography) on the Red camera strapped to a freight train. This guy is a pro; I loved how intense he was about getting everything just right. Matt reminded me that there are some great people living in Los Angeles, they're usually just focused on what they are doing for a living, so you'll probably never meet them.

Furry with Mariah Gardner. Mariah made this costume from scratch and was an absolute peach throughout the shoot, acting as our stylist.

Obviously Furry was too much of a good thing and the ladies just couldn't keep their hands of him.
